It is my great joy to share God’s word with women, both in writing and in person. I would be honored to speak at your event.
I am an experienced speaker for both single talks and longer women’s conferences. I am happy to consider all events, regardless of your honorarium. I do request that you pay my travel expenses, although I consider nearby events part of my ministry to my local community.
I tailor my messages to each event. Past topics I have covered:
The Organized Heart We tend to approach getting organized as just another task: a new calendar, a new schedule, a better checklist. But most of us already know what we need to be doing; we’re just not doing it. Getting organized starts with our hearts. Once we understand the obstacles that stand in our way, we can move forward with joy into whatever God has called us to do. This three-session event draws from my book, The Organized Heart: A Womans’s Guide to Conquering Chaos
Viewing Our Struggles through the Lens of the Gospel When trials come, we usually just want them to end. But often it’s our hearts that need to change. Drawing from the book of Habakkuk and Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, this four-session study explores how God meets us in suffering, not with easy answers, but with Himself. Along the way, we trace Habakkuk’s honest wrestling with God and his choice to rejoice even when everything fell apart, discovering that our anxieties often reveal the idols we’re really serving.
Beyond the Bookstore: A Gospel Approach to Parenting It’s tempting to walk into a bookstore looking for the perfect parenting method. But no man-made book holds absolute truth, and even biblical models of seeking help can be twisted into something we cling to instead of the Lord. This session begins with the gospel, reminding us that both our children and we ourselves are sinners—so external behavior and controlled environments can never substitute for a genuine change of heart.
God’s Rest for Weary Women Rest isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of God’s design, built into creation itself. Yet we often chase the wrong kind of rest, or run from rest altogether. This talk explores body, mind, and soul rest, and points us to the deeper rest only Christ can give.
